BC Coach Development

2015-2016 Coaching Courses

The first step to becoming a Snowboard Coach is to sign up as a member of the Canada Snowboard Coaching Program (CSCP) and take the Comp Intro Course. This program ensures coaches have the training and knowledge necessary to help their athletes, and provide a consistent approach no matter where in Canada they are working. To work for a Snowboard Club sanctioned by BC Snowboard Association, you must have your CSCP license and certification. For more information on the levels of coaching certification and how to get certified, check the CSCP website.
