BC Snowboard Mission Statement
To foster and facilitate ongoing development of snowboard athletes, coaches and officials on participation and performance levels; and to provide and promote opportunity and enjoyment in the competitive snowboarding community.
What We Do
We support our members – by holding a current membership with BC Snowboard, you become eligible for services and to participate in our Programs
- Whether you are an athlete looking to compete in a contest or join a club or team; a coach or official looking to obtain certification, or join a team or club, we can help you on your pathway
- BC Snowboard develops and implements athlete programs from the grassroots to elite level
- BC Snowboard hosts many events of every level including:
- RBC Rider events (grassroot level)
- Regional / local level events (open age categories)
- Provincial Series events (FIS/TTR and open age categories)
- Snowboard Cross
- Slopestyle
- Halfpipe
- Provincial Championships (accumulated points from Provincial Series)
- NorAm level events (FIS)
- National Championships (qualified BC Athletes)
- We support Clubs throughout the Province (see BC Clubs)
- BC Snowboard operates the following Provincial Teams
- Provincial Snowboard Cross Team
- Provincial Freestyle Team
- Provincial Development Team: Kelowna
- Provincial Development Team: Vancouver
